About Project
Founded by Nina in 2018, The Spice Yard started offering spice blends as a way of making authentic Indian dishes and helping spice things up in the kitchen.
Today its kitchens has expanded into delivering food to the Stockport area. We started by creating the identity around bright flashes of colour to represent the vibrant palettes of flavours, with hand-drawn illustrations to the website an organic feel.
Getting repeat visitors to the site was important. This was achieved by creating a recipes page that had clear recipes which could be picked up through search engines. Many of these recipes included Spice Yard products as a core ingredient, then embellished with additional ingredients into a full meal. Due to the complexity of the product and category system, specific attention was focused on making this user-friendly.
